California Community Colleges
The California Community Colleges is the largest system of higher education in the nation, with 2.1 million students attending 116 colleges. The colleges provide students with the knowledge and background necessary to compete in today’s economy. With a wide range of educational offerings, the colleges provide workforce training, basic courses in English and math, certificate and degree programs and preparation for transfer to four-year institutions.   • Fullerton College-North Orange Promise

    The Promise Program provides 2 years of free tuition to first-time college students. Eligible students are also covered with enrollment and health fees through the North Orange Promise Fee Waiver.

    The program provides wrap around services to first-time and continuing Promise students. There is no income requirement, just to be a first-time college student and a California Resident.

    California community colleges and partnering institutions created the transfer program to make it easier for community college students to transfer to a guaranteed saved spot at a participating four-year university where you can earn a bachelor's degree

    The ASSIST system (assist.org) is the official statewide database and online resource that shows prospective California transfer students how courses they complete at a community college may be used to satisfy elective, general education and major requirements at a CSU or UC campus.
