Hello! I’m Ms. McQuown, and I’m excited to be Program Lead of the BEAST Program here at FUHS! I am an experienced art educator with a passion for guiding students in drawing, painting, and sculpture. I blend my background in visual arts with industry connections to help students apply these concepts in BADE and CADE. I am dedicated to preparing students for creative careers, collaborative projects, and opportunities in the SFX industry.
I bring 4 years of industry Engineering experience and over 30 years of teaching experience to the BEAST. Teaching MADE is the highlight of my day... There’s nothing more fun than combining Physics, Engineering, and Art in creating amazing animated projects that students design and fabricate – using their own creativity and building with their own hands!
