Dear FUHS Families,

We are having an incredible year here at FUHS! Our programs, activities, clubs, and athletics are thriving, and we are so proud of the energy and engagement we see across campus every day. Students are showing school spirit, participating in events, and working hard to reach their goals.

Homecoming was a great success this year — we were thrilled to welcome over 1,100 students to the dance! It was wonderful to see so many students celebrating together and showing their Tribe Pride.

Progress reports have recently been completed. This is a great time to check in with your student about their attendance and grades. Consistent attendance and strong communication between school and home are essential for student success, and we appreciate your partnership in helping students stay on track.

Over the past year, we have been working thoughtfully to prepare for possible updates to our school mascot. This process is an important opportunity to honor our history while carefully considering the future of FUHS. We recognize the responsibility we have to approach this conversation with care, respect, and professionalism.

We are now ready to begin gathering input from our community, including students, parents, and staff — to ensure that every voice is heard.

We invite everyone to an informational meeting in the Auditorium on October 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM to learn more and share your thoughts. Please see the newsletter for additional details about the process and timeline. Together, we will move forward in a way that respects our traditions and builds a future we can all be proud of.
